I’m not trolling Ms. Cores BTW. She sent me a friend request a few months ago which I accepted. This stuff is coming up on my regular Facebook.
I assume Ms. Gal is referring to one of the traffic accidents covered in this Observer story but none of them involve a woman being killed, much less murdered.
Cores allows commenters on her Facebook to call Singer a killer and a murderer and, a few days ago, to say that he belongs in a coffin and then is indignant over his refusal to let her publish comments on his own Facebook. Honestly I can’t say that I blame him.

16th Avenue flashing Emergency Alert Warning SIGN flashing “No Swimming” is exactly what is needed in Belmar and other shore towns. Consider posting at each beach approach on the other access streets from Route 35. Please.
Maybe ROBO calls and SMS emergency mobile phone alerts would help protect as well.

#1 Old Man the problem in this country is you have traditional people who value the US,the constitution,fairness to all,laws that are enforced,have integrity and ethics. There are others that do not believe in this country the way it is they would like to see it run like Europe, no encumbrances such as laws, religion, ethics,etc, favor the have nots over the haves even if they are criminals or here illegally and they have the largest and loudest mouthpiece, the media.
#5 – Sir, I carry a copy of the Constitution with me. But recently, I’ve been asking myself if it’s outdated? Possibly, we should convene another constitutional convention. Jefferson did say one generation shouldn’t try to influence following generations. Just look at the millennials. They’ve been taught the 1st Amendment is bad. I’m an old guy and I’m going to keep saying what’s on my mind, but I have to recognize it’s their world now.

And presumptuous is ok. It has been common practice to start many business letters with “Dear Sir”. I personally would not be offended to be called Sir in such a forum as this while using a gender neutral name.
Indeed, school now is not what it was in the past, i.e., prior to 1975 or so. “What’s the matter with kids today” is a lament that has probably been echoed through the ages.
I like the saying “the pot calling the kettle black” – something which could be construed as racist these days or even pro-marijuana, but come on, let’s not complicate issues. We should use discretion in speech to a point, but someone will usually be offended somewhere, somehow. If people want to fight, take on Mayor Lawless and his panel of stooges.

Shouldn’t the Beach Utility Funds pay a contingent of LIFEGUARDS and maybe even pay to have Coast Guard boats warning water idiots to get out of the water? Pay the State Police for Emergency Help.
