The only thing different at about 6:59pm is that the glib one didn’t start his um, huh, and I did or didn’t hear what I heard or didn’t hear Costabile/Zimmer and or Zimmer/Costabile say, didn’t say, did say, flub on and on, during his televised MSNBC interview.

Any AND all, pertaining to? Do we need aClinton to guide Belmar in knowing what depends on the definition of “Is, Is? Hopefully George isn’t getting paid to counsel OPRA requests now. Try interrogator questions at the library to OPRA the transparent anything in Belmar in future. Obfuscation is just that plain obfuscation. Monmouth County will give you any public information to help the public.

Don’t be reluctant to come up to the mike and speak, however, these are the rules for how to behave. Anyway, “talk to the hand”, for you common folk not count.

How about coming down to our level, denizens of the dais?

At least the new attorney advised the mayor to recuse himself from voting on the pay-to-play ordinance, although the mayor did not agree, of course. But then the four council members voted “yes” on it anyway. Nice show.

What is the status on the Belmar/Lake Como police merger? When is that bomb being dropped on us. Has anyone asked the residents of our town if this is what we want? Maybe our administration can do a survey. Has anyone explained to us as taxpayers and residents how we get any benefits from the merger?

No explanations, no input. Matt’s hoping this issue will fly under the radar. Good luck asking for an Officer when you are in need this coming summer, unless you live next to PK’s in Lake Como. Belmar residents
wake up, and don’t say I didn’t warn you. A political feather in Matt’s hat when he stumps for Freeholder sacrificing the safety and security of Belmar to bail out the mismanaged Lake Como.

2nd public meeting where Mayor Doherty told residents that attorney McGill works for the Mayor & Council …. not residents.

If you want good counsel? …. I strongly recommend the 7th Avenue attorneys.

Coast Star published the Lake Como police dilemma. NEWARK just made deal with NJ State Trooper services in certain neighborhoods. Interesting. Our summer streets don’t deserve the same protection that is afforded to Newark residents?

#14 I attended both meetings and witnessed the favoritism you mentioned.

The two men who spoke at the meeting Tuesday night about police matters made excellent points. I especially like that the first fellow used the “c” word – collusion.

The second person came close to the forbidden “cross examination” and it looked like the mayor got more and more tense, grilled on the spot. He doesn’t like that.
