Nevermind

* Brandywine project tabled, “too busy right now”.

* RFPs from other developers may be floated at some point.

* Also, Council reverses previous decision…allows Loko’s Eastport development to go all-residential.

* Mayor to open Seafood Festival with lobster pardon.

Actually I heard that Brandywine backed out of it.

Thank God the brakes stopped Collen Brandywhine’s crash.

It’s amazing that Northgrave was hired to say the Borough of Belmar was just too overwhelmed during the summer to work on a project of this size and scope.

Tune in here if you want to hear our mayor say “let’s table this” (until after the election so that we don’t have to deal with those pesky residents). Also note at minute 40:40 our newest councilman expresses his dislike for the project. He’s head and shoulders smarter than the bunch, and has my vote. And don’t forget to tune into Colleen at minute 40:38 where she interrupts him to chime in (as if it’s her place to vote on postponing the project). Then our illustrious mayor talks about getting someone else to do a smaller version of the project because he’d hate to lose the tax ratable. TAX RATABLE!! Does he not understand that if they (or anyone) builds our public space, they won’t be paying taxes or even PILOT?! We have GOT to get this guy out.

That’s great news if Brandywine did indeed back out of the deal. We must be vigilant to all developers that show interest. No more allowing the BA, Mayor and council to push through deals.

Colleen Brandywhine thinks she’s sitting on the elected Council vs a hired hand. She interrupts constantly without restraint or permission to continue respectfully. Just a disrespectful person of interest.

So back in September Brennan and Nicoly both voted no to the same changes that they now say yes to. What had changed? Matt Doherty is no longer pulling the strings?

They flipped again because of dirty dealing, period. The hole Salt made up holdup was nothing short of malfeasance in office. They are gansters.

#20 – I don’t agree that they are gangsters. Brennan is just another guy who never grew up and is still holding on the his college Marxist ideas long past when it’s acceptable for a grown man to be thinking those childish thoughts. Mrs Nicolay is a nice lady bamboozled by a bunch of misfits. She has no real idea of what’s going on.
