More Info About Fight Night At Taylor

The police log:

Dec 2018 booking calendar shows the pavilion being rented on the 15th by someone named Tom Daya. The occasion was a surprise birthday party:

Apparently at some point the date was changed from the 8th to the 15th.  I guess the surprise was having a fight break out that resulted in 4 police cars having to respond.

For the many million$ of our taxpayer funds spent for Taylor is it equipped with surveillance cameras?

Trashy politicians made a trashy deal for the taxpayers with a trashy outfit to run this joint. This attracts trashy clientele who behave like trash. Our PD must respond on the taxpayer dime to clean up the trash

Mr. Walsifer and Team. It’s time to require that any Merri Maker event in our Taylor Pavilion where alcohol is served that they must hire an off duty Belmar Police Officer to babysit.

I’ve had more than one event there, and without using MM. 6hrs is not too long. They ask you to include the time to set up and break down your party when you fill out the application. Plus if a party with people you actually like, then you probably want to spend time talking/visiting with them so time can fly by.
There are cameras. They make you hire a town licensed bartender if having alcohol so it’s up to the bartender to do their job and cut people off. They also warn you that at any time during your event a police officer can come by and check on things. Maybe there just aren’t enough “adults” at some of these functions?
I’d prefer no additional rules, especially since it’s hard enough to find a town licensed bartender when I’d prefer BYOB for a party to keep costs down. Catering & cleaning company are expensive enough no matter who you use.
