It looks like TB finally admits his math error on the Belmar Democrats FB site, “I have the dimensions. Total 2700 feet of chain link fence, various heights depending on location. Divided by 74900 is $27.75 per linear foot. Definitely more than $1. However for reference, in 2016 we got a bid of $100,000 for just the 1400 ft at memorial field. That’s $27.75 per linear foot at only one site. It’s the best price we’ve found, including having our own DPW do the work. The vendor has savings of scale on materials that we could not match. Thank you for your patience.TB”
Another comments and says that seems high based on simple market research.
#7 – Well, Murphy won so Matt might be getting a plush office (not a job, just an office with a six figure salary – not that there’ll be any actual work done) out in Trenton if we’re lucky. So not everything is bleak.
I had meant to vote for Tom Brennam, the candidate with all the experience checking badges at the beach that knows our residents in and out, but I accidentally voted for Tom Brennan who showed up on the ballot. Is there a way I can change my vote from Brennan to Brennam? I assume many others made the same honest mistake.
#16 A helpful tip to you: Belmar sometimes overpays in order to get some of that money back as contributions. Like Epic? Indirectly the taxpayers end up financing campaigns for candidates whom they may not support.

Coast Star is reporting Monday for the official counting.
Belmar is screwed
Does anyone think TB would acknowledgement the fact that Josh knew TB’s video was misinformation?
End of the road for Doherty, people actually like Tom.
Yo Tom, just so you know, half the town officially thinks you’re incompetent and as an incumbent, that means you’re not doing a good job.

Did Murphy drag Tom into office or was it Djais, again?
Remember even Hillary couldn’t bring mcdirty over the freeholder finish line in his own borough!
$omethings fishy?
1936 votes for Governor and there was a least a hundred less votes for Belmar Council?

On second thought, can I change my vote to Fox NFL announcer Tom Brennaman? I think he would be an exceptional council member.
#5 $27/LF for chain link is high.
