Did the Mayor claim that the Republicans set the fire?
#1 no time for politics – terribly sad situation where 2 people lost their lives trapped in a burning home. God bless.
Too tragic for words.
Yes, a tragedy for sure, however, the Mayor does indeed capitalize on crises. Like Superstorm Sandy. Anyway, no one wants a fire in one’s home and to perish. EVERYTHING is political in this town. (I will continue to give no quarter.)
NO MERCY #4 you do speak the truth re the fact that he does indeed capitalize on crises. Everything is political cause 1 person makes it so I think is what you are saying. I have to agree with you there.
#5 I would hope that the Mayor would not claim that the Republicans caused the fire, as even he should exhibit some discretion (if it would benefit him). Yes, the man breathes politics with every breath.
May God bless this family. I received a report that there was still News12, CBS, ABC (more) at this horrific site at 2:00pm EDT.
When there is a camera with media in town one will find Matt. With all of the SAT vans lined up it appears there was no need to pull out the Mayoral podium with the seal from the back of his Jeep.
Thanks to ALL emergency responders from not only Belmar, but the other adjoining towns who assisted. The folks in this town who are part of our volunteer community are the ones we can truly count on, no matter their political affiliations.
There are entirely too many ignorant people who make comment on this site. Many should be ashamed of themselves. Now you will take these words of mine, and scorn me in the same manner. Ignorant is the only fitting word for many of you.
And yet Tom you continue to read and spit up your stupid comments too. So yes some people on this blog are ignorant, step right up. Many are too intelligent for you to grasp their ironic comments.
#8 What comments are you having a problem with?
Mythical set up comments seem to be legitimate occasionally but you must remember that THE SHADOW KNOWS.
RIP
Everyone let’s not forget that Twp people lost their lives in this fire. The son…who I read to be in his 50s was always polite and said hi when I went by. Also I would occasionally see younger children there (pre-teen) so they probably lost a dad and grandfather…..so just be happy you are still around to read this post. Life is fragile and can be gone in a moment.
“Life is fragile and can be gone in a moment.” Amen.
@ #12, #13, #14 – Agreed and my apologies if I came across as crass.
