At $50.00/hour that is only 188 man hours. Seems that is under what was the actual?
Oh sorry at $50.00 /hour that is 1,695 man hours. Gee do they live there? Guess so
That’s like a few hours at the door and cover charge on a nice Saturday
#1- You were on track with your first statement. At about $56 per hour that would give you 168 man hours. Assume there are two Officers working a 8pm to 2 am shift every night for 14 days and you come up with about $9400 for the Aug. 2016 period. Which means that any extra Officers other than those two that are present near D’Jais are being paid for by the residents of Belmar. Those extra Officers should be out patrolling the residential areas of Belmar keeping the people safe. Instead they are babysitting the patrons of D’Jais while Frank N Friens rake in the $$$$Millions. The final post of Invoice #126 is hard to explain. A six hour bill for Police Services at $26.43/hr. on Oct. 29, 2016 ???? Further research needs to be done to see what requirements the town has imposed on D’Jais license regarding the hiring of Police services and at what rate. Perhaps they should be increased. Does the town get an administrative fee for Officers working outside work?? If not, it should tack on a $100 FEE per Officers’ shift. I don’t have an issue with F N F making money but why do Belmar residents have to pay for his needs. Enough is enough. Vote them out, 1 by 1, 2 by 2.
D’Jais should pay a set fee for the summer for police…and should be much higher than 10k. They drain the time of police and emergency services.
Also, council members should show faces at D”Jais.. In front… Every now and then to show they are monitoring the problems.
Perhaps Merry Matt could get up (from a stool at D’Jais)and step outside at around midnight on a warm summer eve to hold a Town Meeting on the boardwalk across the street. From there he could explain how situations are being dealt with to keep the order as sirens blare and drunken visitors are being led away in handcuffs. Great family fun town.
Hire security from Black Rock. Send the cretins to Inlet Terrace instead of Dunkin
10% city tax on bars that charge an admission fee.A few college town do this.
OK, so why are they only paying a flat rate of $70an hour? Shouldn’t it be the officers hr rate, plus the rate holding up services? I feel as if just charging a flat rate, instead of rates broken down; D’Jais is being done a courtesy and it smells fishy…
I personally know 3 officers that are easily making over that $70 an hr rate.. They are posted at this location daily too.
Skate job!
#9 The unions love it. The unions will drive the price of air up soon
