Is it just me or does anyone else find it odd that M&M construction website is under construction. Old man, if Epic does not get it, I believe there is another connection. It almost seems like bid rigging-only two contractors bidding. I didn’t know the unions had so much work I guess the economy is a lot better than I thought.

#3 Ben it might be a lot of companies are just not interested in bidding anymore, first you have to be a state approved vendor that takes time and paperwork then you have to subscribe to the bid notifications you don’t have time to look at every paper and town to look for bids. I believe in the Silver Lake Drain project there were only 3 bids. I have done bids it is a lot of work and to get it you make very little money.

#4 Bidding jobs is a lot of work. Unfortunately, if you want to be in the construction business or business in general, it’s part of the job-unless you know someone in Belmar who gets you one of those lucrative “no bid” contracts. Then it’s like hitting the lottery!

No wonder there were only 2 bidders …. good contractors stay away from curve balls.
