   Check out the sizes of the two retention basins built at the 18th Ave CVS site. Can you imagine the amount of drainage coming into where the South End Association residents live? Does the SEWERAGE retention water flow into the SEA as well? And if so, is the release gradual or monthly?

And yes I would guess that the water (not sewerage) retention basins do eventually make its way into the SEA. The amount of water that had always fell onto the property does not increase due it being paved. It is however distributed differently(i.e. retention basins, underground infiltration methods and such). I would also guess that creating more and more impervious surfaces over a dense area could create some sort of havoc over time with the lack of oversight.
