Common Sense For New Hampshire

First from the Democrats we have this:They filed electronically this year.  I see Brian agreed to be the treasurer.  I hope he does better than some of the Democrats’ previous treasurers, who, as you know, have had all sorts of problems with their filings.  BTW, there is a new, recently uncovered problem that I will be telling you about soon.

From the other side – well actually pretty much the same side – we have this:I guess Belmar hasn’t had enough of Tom Burke running for Council yet. (4x)

So there will be a contested Republican primary this year.  The Belmar Republican Committee will be announcing their official candidates very soon and whoever they are I endorse them.

BTW, I would love to see a contested primary on the Democratic side.  There are a great many honest, intelligent and compassionate Democrats in Belmar that don’t approve of what’s going on and would make “people before politics” more than an empty slogan.  I wish a couple of them would step up and work to create a principled, honest and locally focused Democratic party to replace the current urban style political machine that exists basically to advance the political career of one person.

Maybe I could finally then retire from writing the blog.
