Why would Brian McGovern be taking close up photographs of the protesters. I smell retribution and you know Lawless Matt. He will identify those and fines will be issued if they live in Belmar.
Thank you to all those who stood up against the worst mayor ever. Is there any other mayor in any town or community that has done such terrible things as Lawless Matt Doherty has?
While it is perfectly legal to photograph anyone in a public place. It’s disturbing that Councilman Brian Magovern is taking close up photographs of the protesters. It reminds me when Janis Blackburn announced during a council meeting that she had read and knows every single person that signed a petition that had been submitted.
Are they kidding, who the hell do they think they are trying to intimidate the residents. The pubic is allowed to protest especially against Lawless Matt since he is ruining Belmar. But Brian taking close up photos doesn’t pass the smell test.
There is nothing more nauseating than seeing a bunch of self-serving career politicians fawning over each other at a cocktail party. Belmar is making Louisiana look like the model of good government.
Even Booker and Doherty look worried when Gopal addressed the somber group who thought they were coming to support a “rock star” in Doherty, but found a community up in arms about his lawlessness.
Doherty strikes me as someone who is both very smug, and not very bright. At some point, those kinds of people usually end up handcuffed in the back of police cruisers. Stay tuned.
First, It wasn’t that long ago 15 years, when I was on the inside of that party. Second, I want to say as a senior, and someone who did of lot of this in the 1960’s, the young people who showed up, made signs were just great and wonderful people. They got it and are committed to doing more such protests in the near future. While all the swells showed up with their bankrupted ideas and misinformed allegiances, I had time to share my 50 years worth of exercising the first amendment. Finally, Belmar’s police assigned to the TWO events were great. I WAS PROUD OF THEM AS A Belmar RESIDENT for how they handled the evening. IT WAS UNLIKE OTHERS during this administration. Blue lives do matter and they protect we the people when we assemble to exercise our rights.
#5. Since, even Brian Magovern knows that I am moving, but still instinctually had no words for me, but rather dutifully took my picture with sign speaks volumes. For this and all the past indignities Brian, I forgive you personally for the part you played in the past two previous attacks on me. I pray that the Good Lord is merciful and brings you to a place of love and wisdom.
Vote for Brian, or else! He has your pictures! What’s he gonna do? Make threats? Send the pictures to your employers? Good reason not to vote for him. Expect the Brownshirts at your doors.
It would be good if the election places were returned to their pre-Sandy locations. Having the voting at Borough Hall is too intimidating. Face recognition from pictures?
Speaking of sending pictures to employers, I wonder what Matt and Jennifer’s employers think of their involvement in the lawsuits, etc. You would think being an upstanding citizen not being sued all over the place would mean something. Met Life, Computer Associates, are you paying attention?
Elemental I doubt they even know they have thousands of employees. Matt is not an employee he is an independent contractor paid commission from whatever he sells, not sure if Jen is an employee or ic also.

Everyone inside the house are all sweating. Guess Matt’s HAVAC friends didn’t get there in time for the party.

That is one motley looking crew who attended that fund raiser.

Oh my god they are sweating like pigs.
He can’t afford AC on Inlet Terrace??
Outside was very warm. I was sweating too.
#5, Benefit of the Doubt, to read what the protestor signs say.
Looks like a very poor turnout.

Cargo Shorts ? Really was it an 80’s Party ? I would expect more from a George Town grad.
from more monmouth musing…

LOL
#4 – Indeed!
Couldn’t make it there. Afraid the heat would be to much for me. Besides my sign may have gotten me some time in the police wagon

#17 That will never happen.
So what if they know all of our names and took pictures of us. We are not the ones making fools of ourselves loosing lawsuits.
ANY of you protesters have any MUG shot in your past?

None of the protesters for sure, however…

If either of them were convicted of a felony, they would probably be terminated from employment.
Nevertheless, they represent the companies that they are associated with.
