Shocker ! No oversight in this town as long as you give to the right campaign do as you wish. When was the last time anyone looked at the DJais floor plan and referenced with what the town has on file ? Who wants to bet they don’t match and that there has been no permits or inspection ? Imagine a fire at DJais on a summer night ? This town want to build 96 units and they can’t even inspect a marina ? What a joke !!!

Once again, this incompetent administration looks the other way to friends and contributors of the program. If you are on the Mayor and BA’s good side, Borough employees are forced to look the other way while friends of the program build anything they want. Why has the Administration looked the other way as the Marina created a boat storage yard on the south side of Fifth Avenue behind Strollo’s without Planning Board or Board of Adjustment approvals, on which should be nothing more than a parking lot. It is not zoned for boat storage. A little birdie heard that when the zoning officers brought it to their attention, they were told by the Administration to “let it go”. And the beat goes on……….

A permit is derived from the Latin word permatata meaning no permission needed.

#7 right on target. They love hassling the real long time locals who both live and operate businesses in town. Shameful. They would love nothing more than to see places like this close down and sell so they can redevelop
