The fake turf issue is foolish and petty. Bozo council at it again. Climate change is real. Rt 35 floods more and more every year with the rise of seas. Beach erodes more and more. Soot in the air when traffic is high, you can wipe it off your house.

The dumb artificial turf ban falls under “development”.
Doherty is in conflict so he can’t vote. Nicolay, because of her election law problems, is in conflict so she shouldn’t vote. That leaves Brennan, Walsifer and Magovern to decide this. Walsifer and Brennan have already voiced their opposition.

How do we go about booking our new town building, do we have to call the catering company or town hall I am confused? I want to book my mom’s 70th birthday party there.I would hope town residents get first crack at weekend parties being we are paying for this building.

So does this mean that the bonfires will now be moved in front of the pavilion? If you’re having a wedding and bonfire package I can’t imagine they expect your guests to walk north to the usual spot.

#7 – Sir, I love bonfires. But I want a fire during January or early February down at that part of the beach between Spring Lake and Belmar. We could gather Christmas trees and set them up on a cold clear winter night. It’d be great. We used to do that each year when I was a boy in Brooklyn. They did it Prospect Park. It seemed every kid in Brooklyn was dragging trees a week before. It was always a great fire and Brooklyn was never burned down. But alas, in this nocando world we live in nowadays, it can’t be done.

#9 – i don’t care if you love bonfires. my question was if the bonfires are now going to be located in front of the new pavilion. I believe the admin understood my question based on his comment.

I agree with #9. A monster bonfire in the middle of January or Feb. on the beach between Belmar and Spring Lake would be great! Turn it into a real town event and sell some hot chocolate and cookies. Great idea Tom.

Where is the solar energy equipment at the beach? Natural resources providing creature comforts for free?

Oh that’s right, the entrepreneurial kiosk company is only utilizer of FREE SOLAR power at the beach except the Fishing Club.

The rocket scientists couldn’t figure out renewable, free energy at the pavilions, why oh why we lament?

#17 Probably no profit for the powers in Belmar in being energy conscious. No one to put the squeeze on, to put it another way. Go ask Maggie when she’s ten feet tall. (Sorry, Grace Slick.)
