To keep the FAKE tax rate down you need ticket income. The more people who fall for the magical Belmar lure the more tickets issued.
All those illegal tickets issued will come back to roost. You will pay Counsel fees incurred by those who legally parked where illegal signage was posted.
State of Emergency Declarations week after week after week?
Robo Call went out to Lake Como Residents Friday afternoon. The new traffic patterns will be in effect starting July 14 in the evening. Cars parked on the south side of 18th will be towed if you park there from Friday night thru Sunday. Signs are up making 17th one-way. Let the traffic nightmares begin!
Hey Mayor – Another top 10 feather for your cap! Don’t you relize that tickets equal lawlessness? Maybe someday you’ll get off the ticket revenue addiction and start to attract law abiding people to Belmar. Great concept for a real leader.

# 3 AT LAST!!! 17th Avenue needs to be a one way! The jockeying to get through was a nightmare, and safety hazard. I couldn’t be more pleased with Lake Como’s decision to change these traffic patterns. I understand it becomes an inconvenience, believe me, I have to go to Ocean Ave to get to my house, but it is necessary!
I also think changing the parking on 18th to accommodate 2-way traffic is much better than it was before. With cars parked on both sides, and people bike riding, it was dangerous. I saw a little girl get run over there a few years back.

#7 you are incorrect where Mayor Wilton lives currently! He is building a new home in his home town…how horrible!!!!
Please explain why you are so against the changing of the streets and traffic patterns?
#8: it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that chaos is cha otic and that is what the unprofessional, illegal rerouting of traffic has done to the South End of Belmar.
