True : Middle class families deserve some fun. Listen they work, pay taxes and need time to relax and enjoy our town. The town is now well know for this kind of bad behavior. The war has been lost.
And the owners of this lovely Lake Como summer rental with padlocked rooms is? And the ethical, licensed, professional real estate agent who rented this lovely home which was purchased in 2003 was?
Next time you want to rent or sell you need to know what professional to seek out and protect your interest and your community, no?
Lake Como or Belmar, this is what has kept 16th Avenue and surrounding streets from redeveloping with more year round residential housing. The current Belmar administration has done NOTHING to alleviate the scourge of out of control and dangerously over crowded summer rentals. Maybe the mayor and council persons with young children should view these videos and imagine raising their families next to these fun loving summer folks.
For everyone’s information, this is a 1 bedroom apartment which rents for $15,000 per summer? Do the math, by summer renter standards that’s 10 people. Look away – No problem here.

#Admin…. it’s a 3 family house. 3 separate apartments
#10 – Admin – It is a 3 unit house consisting of 2 bedrooms for Unit #1 (1st Floor) and 1 bedroom each for Units #2 & #3. Unit #2 is the one depicted in these videos which is on the 2nd floor with the spiral stairs leading to the large attic – 3rd floor bedroom. Without a fire escape? Unit #1 rents for $18k per summer and Unit #2 rents for $15k? 3 bedrooms in total for $33k a summer, that’s now 22 people @ $1,500 each.
These could be the people who were encouraged to register to vote in Belmar and rewarded with beer and hotdogs to do so. Or was it marshmallows and t-shirts?
Technically it’s in Lake Como, but who’s counting?
14 – But they are the same Code Enforcement Officials and the same Police. The housing code is the same and Lake Como’s quality of life ordinances are very similar to Belmar’s.
Attention Mayor Wilton – In video 1 you may notice the young lady laying on the pool table having beer poured onto her. I believe that this is a clear ABC violation and maybe you can take action against this establishment which your borough oversees as the local ABC Board? Thank you.

I’m really glad they’re not my neighbors! It reminds me of the movie called neighbors. It is a good comedy for movie night. Any other good movie suggestions would be appreciated.
I did a lot of those things and I wish I could do them again but since I can’t, those dirty little miscreants!
One more thing, if I was the guy on the recieving end of that 2 story funnel hose I would never trust the guys on the second floor to give me what I ordered. Trust issues I guess.

Admin, 16th ave on the south side going up to B street is Lake Como. The north side all the way up to ocean ave is all Belmar’s though. But Belmar only owns the south end from B street to Ocean Ave..
#8, there is a Fungus Among Us and the family you refer to live in an area that discriminates with the double standard known as NIMBY. Otherwise anything goes in Belmar. That rental is replete with violations. By the way the “GO PLAY VIDEO” made it to channel 12.
This is another example of how the two towns have let down the neighborhoods which have numerous summer rentals. They ignore the problems as long as they are contained to a few blocks now. This house is the responsibility of both towns, first by being situated in Lake Como and second by being a disturbance to Belmar residents who live across the street.
The privileged people in the videos most probably are paid actors.
No way would such a nightmare be allowed in Lake Como in 2017. The Little Red Barn People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones unless they are the victims.
25 – From the look of the liquor stash and the bottles of liquor being consumed, The Little Red Barn owners are probably very satisfied with these customers.
I see that this 3 story overcrowded fire trap is still in operation without a required fire escape. Lake Como and Belmar’s selective enforcement at it best.
No way was that circular staircase and attic lodging approved by code enforcement. Check out ZILLOW listing, etc.
This is going on in Asbury Park????? I think not, no way, verboten.
The investors wouldn’t allow their stock of homes to be debased by puke peoples.
29 .. The unruly summer rentals are not there yet, but the unruly people are. Like Belmar, Asbury Park is out of control on late weekend nights when their bars let-out. Asbury Park now has the bars and the attractions that interests these young people, it’s now up to them in gaining an interest in renting there that will move them along from Belmar. Maybe D’Jais can move to Asbury Park!
