When TAPinto stories come up in a Belmar web search, the picture rarely matches the story.
BTW, the BelMar pot shop is in Bellevue, Washington.
Also BTW, this is the actual Christine Cardellino:

Classic! It’s not like they are running the NY Times and they have a ton of stories to produce. I guess they just don’t care if they get the story correct.
It might have something to do with how the search engine works
Star Ledger reporters have trouble spelling and sometimes have sentences backwards, no proofreading anymore.
This has been brought to the attention of TAPinto corporate. I post every story correctly with the correct photos for TAPinto Belmar/Lake Como. I’m not sure what happens when a search engine gets a hold of it.
To Belle: Yes, I may not be the NY Slimes, but I do care and take great pride in what I write regarding Belmar/Lake Como. And if you are a regular reader, we do produce plenty on content to keep readers informed — 30,000 a month, to be exact.
#4: does your response above mean you will answer questions posed on this blog, inasmuch as you are reporting on Belmar/Lake Como? Just saying.
#5 ANONYMOUS: I was responding to a technical issue that was posted regarding TAPinto. Any and all questions on stories, as well as letters to the editor, press releases, etc., can be submitted through the TAPinto Belmar/Lake Como at https://www.tapinto.net/towns/belmar-slash-lake-como#
#4 I stand corrected, I did not realize that a search engine could randomly make such mistakes on your content. I guess it can be very frustrating as a journalist to post a story and cross your fingers that the search engine doesn’t mess it up. I apologize to you for my first comment.
That’s the probable reason media accounts are now altered and misleading. No content proofing, editorial imprimatur, etc.
Always has a Belmar Democratic sign on her lawn each fall.
She, Cathy, does not live in Belmar #9.
Go back to sleep #10, the comment was in regards to the subject person.
To Belle #7: No worries! I’m told the TAPinto developers are looking into the matter. I’m glad the search engine issues with Bing were brought to my attention!
