We don’t need no stinkin’ tourism. Fewer people, less sewage.

Strolled by the Belmar marina boat shore today, was surprised that marina grill would not allow food vendors at the boat show, didn’t know they own the marina.

200k from Marina Grille and 50k for their income producing Fishermans Dean rental. The tax write offs for that corporate fiasco defies gravity.

    It costs Belmar what?

How could Marina Grill stop food vendors from coming into boat show? Can that really be true?

Maybe Chef’s Int’l took advantage of the deal offered to them by the sheer stupidity of the Doherty/Connolly administration, but that doesn’t mean the residents of Belmar need to patronize Marina Grille, 9th St Pier or Anchor Tavern, the worst restaurants in town. I’m hoping that a boycott of those restaurants by the residents of Belmar and surrounding towns will, at a minimum, eventually lead Chef’s Intl to be a better neighbor, allowing food vendors into the Marina. But best possible outcome would be to force them to close.

We were looking forward to the boat show. What a disappointment. Only one vendor selling fishing supplies, No food vendor’s not even a port-a-potty. What few boat’s they had were nice but we expected more from a Shore and fishing area. I hope they do better next year.

#10 – I suggest you treat yourself with some of the more exotic pharmaceutical products found in our area. Just enquire and certain people will direst you to the closest unconventional, free spirited pharmacist. Many of these venders are extremely affable and all terms are negotiable.

Totally unrelated… while a lot of positive changes have been made under the new administration, sadly the morale of the borough employees isn’t much better. The same people who had their heads up Colleen’s ass now have their heads up the new BA’s ass. Still the same preferential treatment, disrespect and discrimination going on.
