The Mayor keeps using the words “its a wash”. What is a wash? How can Belmar borrow money and its becomes a wash?

I’m assuming that because Mayor Walsifer voted in favor of last years budget he isn’t surprised that $1 mil was borrowed from the beach utility.

Mayor Walsifer is starting to become part of the problem in this town.

27:20-27:40 Kirschenbaum looks to leap up to get Walsifer’s attention so he can again deflect. What a circus act these council meeting continue to be.

Doherty and Crew’s act was more entertaining (disgusting). The tight-lipped sneers, hair toss giggles, looks of consternation…

BA Kirshbaum is not an elected official. He should keep his mouth shut when a citizen is addressing the mayor unless the mayor asks him to respond. Plain and simple, shut up.

Beware any “savior” who rides in to bring resolution. Isn’t that how cults become established? A voice of reason? Provide that. Sorry to say it, but be ready to become disappointed if one lone person fails to be an instant fixer. And the new bunch are not idiots, but politicians in the making. I hope that Mr. Bean does not disappoint if he becomes a councilman again.

I asked the BBP if you had to be a member of the BBP to attend the meet the candidates event. The answer is YES, you have to be a BBP member to attend. So us regular folk won’t get to meet the candidates. I assume there are a few candidates that are actually pretty happy about that.

Coffee clotch? Neighborhood Meet & Greets? Passe? No organizer in NESW Belmar? How’s your future if you can’t figure out a way to ask candidates questions about their philosophy?
