That’s hard to believe!
Here’s the David Wildstein piece on it:
Actually I received an anonymous tip about this matter and Doherty’s involvement in it a few months ago so I promptly fired off this OPRA:
Unfortunately OPRAmachine had an obsolete contact for CRDA’s custodian of records. When a few weeks went by and I hadn’t gotten a response I contacted site administrator Gavin Rozzi who discovered and fixed the problem and forwarded my request to the correct contact.
Then the stonewalling began. As you can read, I had to keep reminding them that I was waiting.
Eventually I got this letter saying they had nothing for me.
I was going to submit a follow up request with maybe a broadened scope. Still haven’t gotten to it but in any case I’ll keep following this story.

Dave, you should have been a district attorney!
Can you ask for text messages between Smalls Staff and Matthew Doherty?
If Belmar’s former mayor is involved in this matter, hold your noses, as some stink is rising. Get out the air freshener.
#3 I am betting no one would be surprised if we had to hold our noses on this current matter after all the Belmar shenanigans.
AC Primetime report dated September 11, shows and views what CRDA Dirty allows at the Boardwalk: Blaring commercials so loud you can’t think and Police can’t hear citizens. Don’t allow this to happen in Belmar!
