During the summer can take up to an hour at some places – and then to eat, drink & be merry…there’s no way you can get out of there in two hours. 2 hr parking needs to be increased to at least 3.

Just one more thing to spread the virus at the beach. Doesn’t anyone have ANY foresight in this town or is it all about the money.

    So let’s understand this.

1.We don’t have cellphone bandwidth to run borough beach credit card machines, but the atm owners has bandwidth to run his ATM machines.

    2. We will rip of low income tourist with atm fees on top of beac fees.
    3. We will take in cash that needs to be accounted for each day picked up from each booth and then counted and deposited into the borough bank account.
    4.ATM MACHINES ARE UGLY RIPOFF
    5. Please vote out town council members in 2021,replace with full time citizens of Belmar

    6. This smells of a payoff envelope.

6 – Your point #5 is a guarantee from my household. This group has been more than a disappointment and are about to put our entire community in jeopardy. Our first responders, our hospital, and even our supermarkets cannot deal with a large influx of summer residents until this crisis is over.

There are hundreds of people walking, riding bikes along ocean ave dangerously close to traffic and to each other the in narrow lane coned off to walk through. Mayor, open the boardwalk back up. If you want to keep no parking on the east side of ocean, do that. People are coming regardless. I think its time for people to be responsible for themselves. If you choose to stay home, fine. That’s what America is all about. I think it’s way more dangerous the way it’s set up now. First person hit will only be another lawsuit we dont need.

Could not believe how many people were biking today ..some in groups of 10 or more..very close to each other on the streets.. People sunbathing on the grass by the lake, others on their lawns..social distancing non existent.
People tailgating in Plaza parking lot
eating take out food from restaurants.
What’s the point ? May as well open restaurants with some type of guidelines for employees and customers.

Speaking of parking. Who is enforcing the 3 hr parking in the Depeepee bldg at 10th ave? Why would the town give up that commuter lot for next to nothing and allow Depeep the right to have 21 spots for 3 hrs? Tell me what good that does for the commuter who works all day? Secondly, how is anyone to know that there is public parking at all in that garage if there is no sign on the OUTSIDE of the building to let people know. This is just another scam on the taxpayers and general public by this greedy developer. Mr. Know it All Kirchebam do you agree? We need all the parking we can get. Do something to make this right.

Those exist? Where? All the spots were numbered last time I drove through. Nothing to show that they are for public use.

14 and 15 great questions. This is just another deceptive tool by the developer Depeepee to get what he wants. The troublesome part about it is the Mayor and council do nothing to correct it. And the do nothing BA Kirschbum at 150k a year does nothing either. Warning to Mr. Lomax and other residents on 9th ave. They are all in cahoots. Just watch that project.
