The Tuesday Night Agenda

2020 budget hearing

SID returns albeit with much smaller budget

Resolutions here.

Ordinances aren’t published as of this writing, but 2020-33, amending and supplementing Chapter XI, sec 11-3, specifically the salaries of “Schedule D” employees, is something one of you might want to ask about.  Schedule D is is for “Other and Unclassified positions”.

The ordinance setting the current rates, 2019-05, is here.

The thing that’s interesting is that I can confirm that former acting police chief Andrew Huisman has just been hired at the Belmar Department of Public Works. I have been told that his rate of pay is $90,000/year but I have not been able to confirm that yet. When I find out for sure I will confirm it (or correct it if it’s not correct.)

Are you F ing kidding me? Please tell me Walsifer isn’t that stupid to hire that incompetent thief! He completely mismanaged the police Dept and stole thousands of dollars from the taxpayers posing as “acting “ chief raking In self serving overtime. If this is true, my family, friends, neighbors will NEVER vote for any incumbent again.

The only moral thing Walsifer has done since being elected Mayor was to bring back the Belmar Lifeguards which Huisman helped to scam.

Now to learn Huisman was awarded a lame position for the salary of 90k in the DPW along with the other scam artist Mike Campbell at 250k and growing, makes me wonder what hold he has on Walsifer and the administration.

The thought of this makes me sick.

I voted for Walsifer because I thought he would bring an end to the corruption and help correct the fiscal problem in the Boro.

Instead my taxes are going up, the town is so over crowded that I no longer feel safe with my health, my home or, the safety of my children.

We need a Mayor that isn’t bought by his past sins or relations. We need someone to clean up or shut up!

This whole thing is a a payback for a coverup that happened at boro hall involving the BA.

Mr Walsifer, mayor, is someone going to investigate this allegation and prosecute those responsible? This is theft and official misconduct at its highest level. I can assure you if this did occur, if these men don’t resign, I will personally contact the proper authorities, newspapers, media outlets and have these men put in jail. A Pennsylvania man who started multiple shootouts last week, including one with police, was “just not handling the pandemic well,” according to his lawyer.

The series of incidents began when a clerk at the Cigars International Superstore in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, confronted Adam Michael Zaborowski, 35, for not wearing a mask while indoors.

He allegedly refused to comply with the mask order, and turned progressively angrier before stealing two cigars.

When the clerk followed Zaborowski outside he pulled out a handgun. Zaborowski fired one shot in the air and two at the clerk, according to the Bethlehem Township Police.

Zaborowski was on the lam for several hours after the incident in Bethlehem, and eventually returned to his home in nearby Slatington.

While local and state police staked out his home waiting for a search warrant, Zaborowski fled in a blue pickup truck. When the authorities tried to follow him, he opened fire on officers with an AK-47.

Only one Slatington PD Officer was injured during the gunfight, while Zaborowski was shot in his leg and buttocks.

He was flown to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem.

Zaborowski was arraigned on 22 charges related to the incident in Slatington.

According to his lawyer, John Waldron, Zaborowski lost his job during the pandemic and had recently lost a custody battle.

“He just wasn’t dealing well with the loss of his job, the loss of his child, just not handling the pandemic well,” Waldron told Lehigh Valley Live. “I think he was getting stretched too tight.”

Palmisano was the chief who knows all about the goings on in the marina. FACT

They are all cops or were. FACT

I don’t know who brought up that they didn’t pay but it seems an odd topic to bring up if there wasn’t some truth to it. It should be easy for any investigator to figure out what’s going on here. That’s if the books haven’t been cooked yet. But they were that would implicate a lot of other people.

#73 you seem to know so much, with all of your FACTS.
Still not sure what the problem is with them docking at the Marina. And if something was done illegally, why is it now coming to a head? Just because Huisman was hired, seems ridiculous right.
Again, what is your proof that they have illegally docked there for years without paying. And how many other people in the marina get a discounted rate?

Fake News, AKA Kirschenbaum. These are the things that an investigation should reveal. Where is the proof that they did pay? That should be easy to see if in fact they did. Discounted rate? No one.

#75 not Kirschenbaum either. Let’s just agree to disagree on this one. You have zero proof of your allegations.

#76 Walsifer booted Poff from his slip because he was getting it using comp time instead of paying for it under Colleen and Matt , Drew has had the same slip for as long as he has owned the green Regulator over 10 years and he has been allowed to pay for only the months he uses it not like every other boater in the marina under Colleen and Matt on another note now that Drew is the new town electrician at 83,000.00 I would expect every light outside borough hall, boardwalk, marina,10th ave plaza and every other property the town owns should all be working before we turn the clocks back,I doubt that will happen.

#77 again you are missing my point. Everything you said is irrelevant without proof to back your accusations.
Like I said let’s agree to disagree, instead of still bashing employees without proof.

Now Drew can afford to pay for a slip fr the whole season, on your tax dime, to the tune of $83k a year for a totally made up, custom job that no one else in this world was allowed to apply for. Get rid of this Walsifer crew now before he gets too comfortable. #voteforgerry

#81 let me know how that works out for you. Proof is needed even with the AG’s Office.
Why not pick something else to obsess about?
Who knew hiring one person would create such drama. Geez!
