It’s Alive!
After passing an authorizing ordinance back in May of 2015,
Belmar finally commences search for electric aggregator.
.
I had been quietly wondering whatever happened to this but I never brought it up because I was hoping they had forgotten about it. And I’m not giving anyone any advice on whether they should participate or not but please know that when they send you a letter or an email asking whether you want in or out, if you don’t respond they will assume you want in and they will choose an electric supplier for you. You must affirmatively opt out or they will opt you in.
There was a workshop presentation on the proposal at the February 17, 2015 Council meeting. It begins at the 39:30 mark. Click here to see the authorizing ordinance passed May 5, 2015.

Gee …. on April 4th the Mayor & Council passed “Resolution Supporting Improvement of Energy Efficiency”, with renewable goals …. and, before the ink dries …. advertises a bid for the cheapest, dirtiest, most polluting energy that can be sold in New Jersey.
Looks like GREEN got in the way.
They have NO SHOW jobs. Maybe the press is afraid to question a political hot potato like this. We shall see if the environmental reporter has the metal to get some medals. Told Todd.
#2 The press is not afraid to report anything, they just won’t report it if it does not help their Leftist Liberal views, and if anyone disagrees with them they call you names!
I guess the Mayor or Jennifer got a job?
Who in their right mind would hire the mayor?
Michaels, the craft store, has an ad this week, as “slime headquarters”, offering everything to make and customize slime. Mayor and Council members can apply for positions there. They are experts.
This is like a bad cough. It always comes back.
#5 Tom you answered your own question. There are 2 AA organizations in Belmar that i know about, need i say more?
