Please somebody help me. Why did that guy Murphy hire Matt? I know Murphy is a classic liberal but why? He knew about all Matt’s issues. WHY?
I just read this entire complaint. I have no vested interest in this at all. But knowing Dirty Doherty I believe every word of it!
Because he’s an average liberal governor
This whole thing is disturbing to read. Doherty and his puppets are despicable. But what I find most disturbing is line #80 where it says Doherty secured a mortgage for one million dollars with the assistance of Chefs International. For that alone he should be indicted along with all the rest of them.

#2 I also read the entire complaint. Not one word surprises me. No moral compass exists in the players involved. Pure greed and greasy palms all around. Not sure how long this case will take. I predict longer than Doherty’s career under Murphy. I would live to see some time behind bars for this Belmar stooge!
The bottom line is that the defendants in the Belmar Administration were elected for two terms.
The only way to get rid of Mcdirty is to send him away and away he will go. It is shameful that RICO violations have snared the lot of them!

The administration of Belmar PD is as corrupt as the FBI and should all be charged and fired. Huisman got to be acting chief enabling him to get 50k+ in overtime, Cox and Scott promoted to captain. Palmisano given sweetheart lease deal in new marina bait shop. Can you say collusion.
The bait shop lease was put out to bid but I guess nobody else thought it would be wise to try to bid on it.
I’m not to old to hope that I see them all get what they deserve.
The chief of police/former chief should not be able to lease the Boro owned bait shop. It’s a conflict and stinks like fish.

This is so sad. Politics at its finest. Your taxes at work for you.
This is beyond corrupt! All tax payers and voters need to read this and vote differently. I know there was such outrage over the lifeguards, that is just the tip of the ice berg.
Where is the outrage for this???
Hopefully there are enough honest people left that can right this wrong. I hope more brave people will come forward.
Does Nicolay’s employer know about these charges?
The residents have to be informed about these charges. I know some who are clueless and think everything is just dandy and also think Magovern is a sweetheart. He may be a hair less corrupt, maybe, but how much weight does one hair have.
How about the attorney generals and Monmouth county prosecutors office? Lets notify the media!

Without witnesses, this complaint goes from a hero to a zero….
Let’s make a deal, you talk and get immunity or reduced sentence…and within the body of text there are quotes and statements that imply witness, like Nicolay talking to people.
#28 – Get them to testify under oath their denials….then release the audio/video evidence.
No individual will go to jail, this is a civil case, not criminal….

#31… HARMONS GOT SCREWED and I truly feel terrible for them… But the tax payers of Belmar will pay the damages if the Harmons win… The Mayor and council will walk free of harm… They most likely have a fall guy somewhere down the food chain that will be blamed for giving poor information… Our only method of getting back at the Mayor and council is VOTE THEM OUT!!!!
The ones who are personally liable may still have a financial hit, unless the possible “fall guy” in the wings takes the fall or presents a convincing scenario. Still, having the charged persons actually appear in court is not a bad thing. Make ’em sweat, I say. And absolutely, vote them out.

I doubt this will go forward, Municipal Officials are not required to adhere to ethics like State and Federal officials are.You cannot even sue Municipal officials for Malpractice. Unless State and Federal Investigators get involved and review all tax returns and bank accounts nothing will happen to this crew. Al Capone was nailed by the IRS not the FBI or local Police.
The HARMONS were treated unfairly… But I am trying to justify 10 million in damages and just cant make the numbers add up….

The people that voted again and again for this mess are the ones that should have to pay for it. If the rest of us didn’t want any of it and didn’t vote for it why must we pay? If it is a law it should be changed. I think the best way is to sell and go. Let them figure the easiest way out. This whole mess is a threat to most of us.
51 Terry time will tell how much this will cost in the way of a tax increase. The last election was close, which tells me alot of people don’t care about ethics or how things are done in Belmar. Approx 40% of the residential ownership in Belmar are second homes hence they could care less about the school or if that taxes go up, they can obviously afford it.
#52…. What you just stated is fake news… Second home owners care about schools and tax increases… These second home are huge investments and both schools and taxes have an effect on home values…. Also quality of life in town, which has been trending downwards kills housing prices … So I cant think of anyone that likes it when home values decrease and quality of life is terrible…. So saying second home owners dont care is insane….
I am more concerned about the full year residents who remain blissfully ignorant of the shenanigans and are seduced by the toothy smile and self-serving media soundbites. Or those who just vote by party affiliation only without considering anything else. A big exposure, like a newspaper or tv clip of the offending individuals doing the perp walk ain’t gonna happen. Some will think the pretty lady with the nice hair is, well, just nice, and “nice” can run a town. Nice gets you squat. The cool guy dressed in black is not enough image to run a town even though he can sing da blues real good…The loud guy is just a windbag who does not favor trees. It’s gonna take a revolution.
