Anti-Corruption Protest At Doherty Fundraiser

I was about 45 minutes late to the scene but I was able to get the second half of it.

Cory Booker arrived in a black Suburban at about the 28:15 mark. (He’s corrupt too, btw.)

Doherty supporter parks wrong way…will vote wrong way.

Resident leaves masking tape message to illegally parked Doherty donor.

A couple of interesting observations from last nights protest at Dorehty fund raiser. 1. The people protesting were polite and peaceful. 2. When told they had to cross the street most of them did until teddy ehmann politly informed the police that they were allowed to stand on the curb as was their right. So they all went back 3. A woman who I believe was a neighbor went up to 3 of the protesters yelling at them to get off “my property” ( which they weren’t on by the way, they were on the curb) and then she literally pushed the young woman off the curb!!! 4.I counted 4 separate police offers show up ( they were very nice too) 5. And I believe this the most interesting, Brian McGovern went up to each protester and told them he wanted a picture of their face, up close. Now why would he do that????

Actually at one point a cop came up to me and politely asked me to stop filming, citing the fact that the interns standing in the Mayor’s driveway were minors and that I would have to block out their faces. I informed him that there’s no expectation of privacy for anyone who is in public, including minors, and that I intended to continue filming at which point he just said ok and walked away.

No summons issued for the parking violation?…..typical. Chief and Matt obviously gave to order of no enforcement because of the circumstances. Par for the course.

Life is good on Inlet Terrace …. notice the nice concrete rain gutter next to the curb …. not even offered to the little people in the recent sidewalk improvement ordinance.

How does a police officer not know that filming anyone, regardless of age, while in public is legal???

So Brian what did Matt promise you when he told you to go out and take pictures of the “terrorists”? Brian are your afraid of Matt, or do you think he is some kind of God or the Messiah. I have lost all respect for you.

Seems like intimidation to take photos of protestors.

Belmar has a lot or residents who are unhappy with doherty.

And that new building at the marina is a monstrosity.

Save the marina as open land for all. Do not commercialize it, causing dangerous congestion
