Personally I think anyone with such a negative view of our great little town should never have run for office here in the first place.

Areas that look like that in Belmar would be the Water Works property, parts of Dempsey Park, parts of Maclearie Park, Railroad Avenue, and Memorial Field. All property the town is responsible for.

#1. Absolutely RIGHT. Cleaning up the above property should be a priority.

Cleaning up is not the same as making it an area of redevelopment which gives the mayor absolute authority to build anything he wants and to ignore existing zoning. Just like deal he made for chefs.

How about one big amusement park with roller coasters, food trailers, freak show? Name it Doherty Park.

Protest! Summer of Protest 2016 can rival Summer of Love in 1967.

He ignored all the zoning laws when he built the 14th ave Home by Summer House. So if he dis it there its a guarantee he will do it when it comes to redevelopment of a bigger property.

For 6 years now the board entrusted with the investigation for redevelopment designation based on the plans of the mayor, The Planning Board allow just one man to call all the shots. The charade is getting tired. Beginning with Mayor’s committee to study and make recommendations on the Seaport Redevelopment plan controlled, its outcome assured by the outsider Dave Roberts. In April, the Planning Board created again a committee, but Dave ended up being the committee and the outcome assured. These are the same individuals who went along with the designation of the entire beachfront which Belmar lost on Constitutional grounds. When you look into the board member’s eyes, they are blank, not a clue, not a lesson learned, helping hands sans and ounce of objectivity or common sense.
