We all know of the Oxymoron example: colossal shrimp. Well it should now be written that the Belmar doughty mayor has finally found his place in the lexicon of Soprano State politics, i.e., Beer distributor Union and Illegal Immigrants Advocate.
Remember he made sure your local tradesmen/women didn’t get any work out of the $5.35 million dollars pavilions but he had the temerity to employ non-union labor on his residence.
Now we can’t even enjoy a Miller unless you’re a member of the FSOS or a Chef’s establishment. After a little birdie told them about the job action they ordered in advance. Kinda like pumping and dumping stock. Don’t blame me, you voted for the bum.
The FSOS sent out an email today asking members to support the union workers and avoid miller/colors products.
Miller Coors will sue Matt, what is he trying to prove??? They will not loose $$$ on the Jersey Shore! Another losing endeavor by Matt, he must love to loose.
If you go to the main FSOS website (Old Bridge) there are links to the local chapters. The Belmar link is the only one that is turned off, coincidence?
Did all private clubs get the mayor’s Edict?
Everybody salute the Inlet Terrace champion for the working CLASS, the middle CLASS and other little people.
See the lines of supporters flocking to Matt’s side chanting “Get the flock outta here”. Middlesex needs you.
Why is he using the name of OUR town to push HIS personal agenda? This is the leadership that we want? Shame on us.
#8 It is not only his agenda, he is not THAT bright. The Left Socialist Democratic Party want no borders, citizenship for anyone no questions asked, or physical exams to see if they have any diseases, abolish or change the constitution, give criminals more rights than victims,no more laws enforced, take away free speech to name a few agenda items. If you brain wash the locals it spreads nationally.
“Belmar is a working-class town, and we cannot in conscience have a company selling beer at a public venue that’s been locking out its working-class employees,” Doherty said. I guess for example the blue collar bar owners the Harmons don’t fit into the category of supporting local owners building and trying to open an approved and signed off by the borough – contractually approved location that would have employed probably close to 100 local employees and food truck vendors. Not they are union but they are still local jobs and when he’s held personally responsible for his and the councils actions then maybe it will hit home to the mayor his actions are embarrassing our town and hurting our pockets. There was a move to remove a mayor once before in this town. Why are the residents and all of us affected people not moving forward with this again. Make Belmar great again and get this clown and his cronies out of office
