A jet to fly their executives around in
When pressed, Perkins admits to U.S. Rep. Chip Pickering, D-Miss. that AshBritt’s only piece of equipment is the jet it flies between Florida and Jackson, Miss. It has no dump trucks nor did it collect a single piece of debris. While AshBritt, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ hauler of choice, made a $100 million profit at $17 a cubic yard in one community, the local hauler who did the actual work made $9 a cubic yard.

Sickening
There’ve been dummy Corps. like this since before we became a Republic. They just sit there on paper filed away until an opportunity comes along and then they’re pulled out and put into action. All the actual work is done by legitimate contractors that work the job as subs to the phony outfits like AshBritt.
Go back to the days right after Hurricane Sandy. The mayor’s wife working out of her firm M public Affairs, Lake Como created AshBritt/Conti a made up company and conned the NJ League of Municipalities to promote the non-existent firm to all 565 municipalities as THE Sandy Cleanup NJ State Contract Firm. Then Campbell fired those independent companies already contracted by Belmar but not subcontracted by AshBritt. THIS NEWS IS BIG.
Private jet is the best ride to Rockport, TX from Monmouth Executive Airport. No “weeds”.
Teddy, our then BA, requested a meeting with Avon’s BA to discuss what a friends (Maggie) company can do to help the recently devastated town of Avon after Sandy hit. Lucky for the people of Avon he listened to them and then kicked them to the curb.
Tim Gallagher has always had a stellar reputation for Community Service.
Not only is Tim Gallagher smart and
Honest he is a man that gets the job done. The Avon’s Women’s club was allowed to continue to use the gym for their socials after the President of the club passed Tim’s Mom. He has let the ladies enjoy an afternoon of Cards Bingo MahJong or just have tea or coffee and talk. We all thank him for this service and hope his retirement is as much fun as we have had in Avon.
Tim was also instrumental in allowing the greatest thing to come to Avon since the Atlantic… The Avon Pond(ice rink)! Thank you Tim!It was offered to Belmar for free, but the town turned them away.
