People just want to do what they want to do when and where they want to do it. This has been a long time coming but here we are. Far too ate to moan and grown about it. That should’ve been done years ago.

They paid or fulfilled some obligation to get on the beach. Let them do what they want if they are not directly bothering someone else. Blankets can take up just as much space. Maybe they dont want sun cancer or to have to slather the poison deemed to revent sun cancer on them. People just love telling other people what to do. People doing what they want is called FREEDOM.

I agree but what do you think would happen if I went out there selling hot dogs? Anyway when Matt became mayor he reviewed all the beach regulations and apparently liked that one because he kept it.

Selling hot dogs or spreading tents etc ?
Selling hot dogs should require some sort of Board of Health enforcement just so it’s sanitary. Engaging in your pursuit of happiness by erecting a sunshade in a public place should be ok. Even though I hate the Nanny State maybe Hot dogs should be illegal anyway because the CDC says they are not fit for human consumption and they are constructed from ground up lips and @$$holes.LOL

Enough with the tents!go to wall campground . Umbrellas have worked for years . The tents are ridiculous . Entrance to the beach clearly states no tents allowed during summer months . Start enforcing the rules including Bluetooth speakers . Why come to the beach if you don’t want to listen to the ocean .

On Sunday I saw the biggest tent ever on 20th ave beach. There so many coolers and tables under it and the people who set it up were sitting on beach chairs behind it.
