Any idea which dummy came up with this proposed ordinance and why ?
The mayor controls everything in this town.
Now it can be said that Belmar listens to it’s people.
No it can’t.
Is there some kind of remedial Public Policy course we can send the Belmar council to? I’ll pay for it.
Last night twice the mayor stated that the police were responsible ( not the mayor and council for the proposed ordinances. So if its stupid blame them?
You have to think like a politician. Here’s my guess, if this went through and it was applauded by the residents Nicolay would take the responsibility this way she can stick “I cleaned up Belmar” on her campaign literature. It’s all about November. You can probably expect to hear her on all the code whatever phone calls this year.
And C Connolly stated at the beginning of the meeting that in a roundtable discussion they would be going over ordinances to clean it up and that this was a goal of hers and we could expect many more but she never said anything about the police. But a sincere thanks to the mayor and Brian for wearing a tie. I guess a tie clashes with an earing.
Do you have a video of the meeting?
Yes. Using a new computer to load it to YouTube. Made a couple of mistakes that slowed me down. Should be up late tonight early tomorrow morning.
I like seeing towels on the porches, makes it feel like summer at the beach.
Better towels on balconies than beer cans thrown all over the sidewalks.
The ordinances should focus on important issues.
Don’t blame the police …. blame Busy B’s.
