Based on the requirements, our mayor and council members wouldn’t qualify to canvas for their own party.
Ability to walk door to door for several hours ? Only if “door to door” means from bar to tavern…to pier, etc.
Outgoing attitudes ? Nope
Great communicators ? NO WAY !
Available during nights and weekends ? These people can’t even make 2 council meetings a month.
I’ll give them the “over 18” and “reliable transportation”. Although, the transportation can’t be confirmed as reliable.

PAID canvassing good, PAID protesting bad?
This says up front that it is only for 18 plus. Trying to compare this to paying a 17 year old kid? No chance!

The lobbying firm gave up further work on casinos in northern Jersey. This was on CBS today. The issue will remain on the ballot in Nov, but they already believe they will have no chance. I hope MM gives same advice to loser matt, give up on P2P, give up in being a freeholder (you are already a freeloader in Belmar gov’t) and give up your seat in town government. You are no asset in Belmar, you don’t even go to meetings anymore!
I read the comments that Matt and Claire made to the reporter to vote yes to the referendum. If they say yes I say NO and urge all to vote no, and also vote the 2 aiding and abetting democrats out of office.
Paid or not, the young man was portrayed in the media as having been paid. Many people believe what they read. He later said he was OFFERED money or food. Not everyone read that follow up info. Anyway, my question can be construed generally.
