Three members of the Council, Magovern, Nicolay and Brennan, have received sizeable campaign contributions from Colleen Connolly. They should recuse themselves from voting on the CFO appointment if she is a candidate for the job.

I hope she gets what she deserved and is expelled from this town like a priest preforming an exorcism.
It would seem hypocritical if Brennan doesn’t recuse himself considering he doesn’t vote on liquor licenses for same reason.

No evidence of that.
True Admin. Just anecdotal, wouldn’t hold up in court or in an elections board hearing. Seems unlikely to me that someone (anyone) would give $500 to each of those candidates out of their own pocket. But there is no proof of it.
