Flat roofs and heavy snowfalls don’t mix.
Our original preference was an expensive house to build in the first place, but when you add the cost of preparing that roof for 2 foot snowfalls it just doesn’t make sense.
At least for now we’ve settled on a plan for a house that bears a resemblance to our current house but with a really great floor plan.
I used CertaPro’s visualizer program to “paint” it the colors we would like to use. The tan parts would be brick.
I think there’s room on the lot to add a third garage. If I can, I will.

Take your time and sit down with an architect. Design the home of your dreams. The extra expense of an architect from that area is worth every dime. Enjoy.
Thanks, Bill. Actually we’re making plans to meet with Wendy some time early next month. She has an outstanding reputation up there and developers have built entire neighborhoods of her houses all over southern New Hampshire. On top of that, her office is only 3 miles from where we’re building.
Love the turf grass. Freedom at last.
That’s true. Maybe I should get astroturf. It’s legal there.
Bye
Did you ever think about all your purchased goods that come in plastic every which way and that. Clothing, frozen food, medication, splints, bottles, etc.
Kinda lame eliminating bags and turf grass. Teach CHILDREN & ADULTS to RECYCLE, please.
One should be allowed to make ones own
decisions if capable. When one moves it
it is for a reason at that point if
building they are entitled to build
what they want where they want. If it
were me I would put in the turf and
love every minute of it and any other
legal thing I wanted. Building a new
home doesn’t happen every day. It is a
Gift.Good luck with your venture Admin.
stay away from food labeled ‘made with Sea Salt’ because they contain plastics …. stick with ancient salts.
