Did he ever recuse himself prior to the Salt application?
No
Why did we elect him? Easy answer ….Dumb people
You have to stay consistent with a lawsuit hanging over your head.
Brennan is a dope and needs to go.
Admin is that lawsuit for 10 million by the Harmons still pending?
Yes
Why is there blasting outdoor music anyway? Keep the music indoors.
Silence is golden. Stopping the noise pollution at 10 pm is excellent.
#8: it’s free advertising on your done or should I say EARS?
When did 10th ave burrito get permission to build an outdoor seating structure on the sidewalk?
#8 Music should be contained inside the establishment. Having to endure it outside is an assault on neighbors. Not everyone likes the music/noise.
#11 Likewise Brandl in Pyanoe Plaza extends their outdoor seating way east at times. The burrito joint has been inching their way north for a while. Yeah, someone notices these things.
Belmar is a Summer based Tourism town and has been so for many decades. Anyone with any brains should have realized that before you moved here. Businesses should have the ability to make money during the busy Summer season. Give it a break already. It’s as quiet as hell for 9 months!!!
Hey Truth: Noise is ok, but two bands playing two different songs that we hear at the same time is not ok. Revelers making noise leaving nightclubs is ok, but revelers pooping in outdoor showers, puking on front lawns, banging on residents doors at 2am thinking it’s their rentals is not ok. There’s a difference between fun and debauchery. I want fun, I want cultural diversity, and I want natural beauty preserved. And guess what? I can have it. It’s a matter of keeping powerful people in check. Our special spot on the map, along with today’s job, real estate and financial market, allows us to be picky. The tourists will come. They’ll buy homes, pay for theater, dinners, trinkets, booze. What shall we give them? Once there’s a runaway train of nightclub-type bars we’re done for. (And I LOVE 10th Ave Burrito btw – it’s the most interesting and down to earth bar in town). As far as redevelopment goes, it would be great if we courted commercial establishments that were unique, cultural, young, old, I don’t care. I don’t care if I even like it. Just something different to create diversity!!!!
Not enforcing ordinances for favorite players is just wrong.
noise level follows booze sales
#11: Where do you live year round? And were you aware that Seasonal Liquor Licenses can be and probably will be expanded year round? Best the Clock anyone?
# 14 – There’s a difference between fun and debauchery

Correct, but I see little actual fun anymore. Everything seems to be unnatural and forced. Every so often you see what seems a well adjusted person and, or family but not often. I never thought in my wildest dreams I’d ever see the things I’m observing. I especially wonder at people my age attempting to be like younger people. Then there are the young people who are so oblivious to their surroundings. People so over or under weight, etc. Finding all sort of things as I walk (money and recently a guys paycheck), looking at all the debris from car wrecks covering our roadways, etc. Absolutely fascinating to watch it all.
Re #18: How many people in town this year died from drug overdose, booze or suicide?
Party behavior gets out of hand and then too many deaths
#19 – died from drug overdose, booze or suicide?

In ten years, even their friends won’t remember their names – just the way it is.
