Well Walsifer fell right in line. Not an independent thought between anyone. What a disappointment. He could have easily said something like “well Mayor, if you weren’t such a dummy all of this could have been avoided”. Instead he praises the lawyers ! DUH
Matt you lost !! It must be embarrassing to have to walk of the stage every night multiple times. The BA comment classless, what the town people that are recovering ? Thoughtless and Classless you owe them an apology!! To assume everyone is drunk like yourself running to BA 10th Ave , Anchor or even the Basment of DJ’s is an insult. You really should take sometime and think before you speak.
Please somebody tell me his last day as Mayor. Mark#1 could have said “Uh Gee why did this happen in the first place duh”
They all need to be voted out of office, including the new one. #3 I heard that Bar A comment from the mayor also. What is wrong with him?
Obviously Matt doesn’t understand the concept of “You caused Belmar Taxpayers to pay for your Administrations shakedown of developers” by incurring legal fees for redevelopers to get what was agreed upon. Instead Matt you spit on Belmar’s residents and disparaged the settlement agreement eneed into by your $450. an hour lawfirm and the costs for plaintiffs counsel fees to protect LOOK and Belmar.
If you go back to the beginning and watch all the town meetings it will be evident who are the honest ones in this lawsuit. The mayor can stand on the dais and say anything he wants and tell the people of Belmar it was all lies. Look at the videos and read the minutes of the meetings. If you connect the dots the truth is there. The facts are the facts and the mayor can’t change that. I wonder what the other council members were thinking as he sat up there telling his lies.

Exactly #6, what were the council members thinking ? Walsifer wasn’t part of the lawsuit and he sat there as if everything was ok. It’s not ok ! They all need to go.
#8 if you look at the second video at the 8:50 mark you will see he did say something. It sounded like someone on the council shut down the lines of communication and the result of that was the law suit. That is just my observation.
See you in November because the traffic, security experts Matt and the roommate determined that removing the illegal signage wouldn’t do anything different.
Matt is a laughing scofflaw, no doubt about it. Despite the clear risks to children and the folks of Belmar he doesn’t want to risk offending ill advised Wilton and Lake Como’s no traffic planner professionals when they put up non-state sanctioned traffic signs illegally placed on Belmar’s as well as adjacent shared residential property.
Politicians never want lawsuits such as this to go to trial. I would force them to testify and perjure themselves. Instead, they gave Kalpko whatever he wanted. Don’t really see how Matt can deal away the SALT suit, other than to have the taxpayers pay up some jinge.
Showing his underpanties in a deposition will be enlightening.
Dave, do you have the video of Kapalko coming to the council and telling them that they were wrong from the beginning?
#13 – Mayor Man-Boy’s undies would be quite filled-up if he ever had to testify unfolded oath. Either that or his nose would probably quadruple in size.
Is the whole SALT suit over?
What positive things is the council doing? How about a fundraiser to build a senior building or to expand the library. How about also declaring some land as open space that will never be developed
Use the library as a Senior Citizen building and Education venue.
Now we will RENT and MAINTAIN another building, the defunct church? The most under utilized real estate in America are public schools and OUR school should be used as a senior center, community center, public gymnasium, and for any other community purposes needed. Let’s see if anyone on the council, or future council persons, has enough leadership skills to get behind this one.

#19 Multipurpose venues for the residents, excellent! Parochial schools utilize their buildings as much as possible for their parishoner’s use and it has sustained their communities. High Schools in the Public realm have multiuser activities as well.

#20, I remember a council member from not that long ago who was also outnumbered. That never stopped him from speaking his mind. This was the same councilman who took it upon himself to call for an investigation into missing gift cards. He also would tell the mayor right to his face when he was doing something idiotic. None of these people would dare to say anything to Matt or Colleen. No marbles.
