Semper Fi – Jim Bean, we miss you.
Thank you to all who served our country to defend and protect our freedoms.
Your sacrifice gives allows us to live the way we choose.
Happy Veteran’s Day.
What’s wrong with these elected officials when it comes to planning for
parking? Last June, we experienced first hand the folly of not following the plan. Brennan states the Harbor Commission wants to solve the problem of less marina parking by signs directing those searching to spaces in town. Then Nicolay state BBP working on shortage of parking. They will probably send people to the marina. We have been over capacity for years now. The original seaport redevelopment called for a parking deck. Now that is not enough. Belmar at peak times is Hoboken. This will require a new plan to increase parking. What these officials keep doing is a game of musical chairs. A game guaranteed to kill the very tourism they strive to increase, while continuing to make life for locals unbearable.
Lake Como cops bet no who pays BILLS in this here town – its DJAIS party baby – HOboken come on down – Shaolin ISlsand NY!!! BAYBAY
“arbitrary, capricious, unreasonable”
~Judge Lawson
ARBITRARY, CAPRICIOUS, UNREASONABLE. It’s a mantra that resounds in our ears as more ineptitude is revealed. No more benign neglect excuses.
Integrity, Ethics and let me hear some Honesty no more schemes by the schemer(s).
#6 that will never happen, that’s what all Democrats do and stand for. JFK and FDR are rolling in their graves.
Never did like FDR. Was he in on Patton’s demise? Read “Target Patton”
8 Old Man yes I agree but he was not like today’s unethical corrupt politicians.
In my opinion, taking over the Lake Como Police Department is a HUGE mistake! We can barely police our own town-Lake Como has five bars. Doherty acts like we will make money on this merger. He and Colleen are not qualified or capable of figuring out the actual short and long term cost of this merger. They are looking at how Interlaken merged with Deal and that is like comparing apples to zebras. It is not our responsibility to get Matt’s friend out of financial trouble. The way Doherty and Colleen are going, we will be asking Wall Township for a bailout! I believe Belmar will be the only town making an offer-that shows what a “great” opportunity this is!
#9 I disagree
If we think we are the only town interested in making an offer then we should make a nice high offer. Take it or stay bankrupt Lake Como.
Those other towns are smart not to get involved.
Why in God’s name would any other town want slobbering, druggies, drunkards, misanthropic, miscreants flooding their police forces and accommodations? the personality of the jailed doesn’t change its the jailers who adopt the prisoners behaviors. Workers Compensation claims skyrocket. Liability history claims made.
SING SING
Lake Como wanted to be independent, so let them police their town. Belmar should not get involved.
We have enough crime here to handle. Lock up the drug dealers!
