In all the years I’ve been watching the Council I don’t recall a single instance of an introduced ordinance not becoming law.

It is a waste of time to attend the meetings or give an opinion. The decision was made long before the public has any input.

They want the people to have the impression that they “feel your pain.” Brennan was the only one who made an effort, not that it will count, as he said he may change his mind. He wants votes.

Correct me if I’m wrong, if we have strict liability notice of the 2009 DOT laws regarding narrow street traffic shouldn’t all the streets in Belmar including the North/South crossings of “A” to “F” Streets have to conform as well?

Dangerous and Hazardous knowledge is a very serious issue when it comes to Tort Claim Notices of pending litigation. Can you imagine the Insurance Premium increases we will be faced with in the future because of Narrow Streets adding to Accidents? If one accident can be prevented isn’t that enough reason to drive around the corner for convenience sake?

Ms. Nobody is correct. Matt allowed Brennan to vote no for votes. Happens every year prior to elections. Amazing some people don’t see these shenanigans. Vote them all out. Go Josh.

According to the police blotter in the Coast Star it appears that most arrests made in Belmar/Lake Como are on 18th and 16th Avenues. Is that the reason that the Police must be more in tune with walkers vs drivers on roadways from 1st Avenue though 20th? Vigilence?

Regarding 16th Avenue …. I find it troubling how cavalier Belmar elected officials discount the value of a coastal evacuation route …. Belmar could easily restrict parking to the north side of 16th Avenue and maintain legal 2 way.

After seeing Brennan’s competition speak at the council meeting I have no problem voting in Brennan for council.

Terry Pierce: wow I thought you respected successful business people/entrepreneurs who want to dip their toes into the swamp to try to improve our borough, County, State and or Nation.

Drain the swamp…need new people on the council. The town’ s debt is too high, the Taylor pavilion bldg is hijacked by merry makers, Too many new bars in town. Too many lawsuits against the town
    Make Belmar wholesome again.

Taylor was allowed to be hijacked but remember it’s a done deal. Before you prepare your Absentee Ballot REMEMBER which Council members were complicit/cheerleaders for the hijackers.
