1:21:38 The mayor is a fool. Know the Civil Service rules please. What does part-time status have to do with anything? Did you approve the hiring or not? Simple question and you can’t even answer that. It’s still costing us taxpayers additional money. Ask that dunce of a BA you have. Oh wait, he’s just as clueless. #Belmarembarrassed

Wow! The mayor’s response to the “discounted” boat slip issue (1:05:15) was super shady! Just lost whatever respect was left for this guy.
#1 – You are so right. Boy, the mayor sounds SOOOO defensive on this. Something smells foul!

#1 – You are so right! Was it me, or did the mayor sound extremely defensive (and borderline rude) when attempting to “answer” the question? – which he never did.
Huisman is a thief. The police Dept should have a comprehensive, independent audit done. At least going back 10 years. The incompetence and mismanagement will make you sick. They should be locked up. Huisman robbed the taxpayers in more ways then one. Free boat slip is nothing.
The worst thing Mark Walsifer did was bring Huisman back after he got rid of him as “acting chief”. Why he did it I’ll never know. I do know it will be the beginning of the end for him and his administration. Huisman do us all a favor and go away.
The mayor said something like we have plenty of part time personnel working the beachfront during the summer. Well yes we do. Difference is Huisman is a full time part time person were as summer help is SEASONAL part time. Does Walsifer think we’re all stupid? Can’t help it but need my aspirins for this one.
Walsifer is digging his own grave. Was the worst thing bringing Huisman back, or not getting rid of Campbell? Either way, his bad decisions as Mayor has caused Belmar to lose faith in him and his administration. Watch the video, you can see in the mans face he is uncomfortable with the truth.

Huseman part time worker at $40 an hour. Outrageous Let’s see exactly how part time he is. How many hours a week? I believe our new committee man Gerry is OPRA ing his time sheet. Liars all of them. At least Matt smiled at you when he was lying to you.
Wow,Mr. Levis and Mr. Buttafuosco really had the mayor squirming. Hiring Huisman will bring him down. If he is part time, which he isn’t. Is he receiving 83k? Still taking an unmarked truck home at night? He’s docked his boat in marina for at least 10 years paying nothing. Mayor, let him go. He’s not worth it.

Its not secret he’s docked his boat there for years and years. If his name is not on any receipts or dock information forms, etc. then he didn’t pay. Simple
Huisman will make over $100k with overtime in 2021….Guaranteed
Why would Walsifer want to put up with this turmoil? Fire Campbell for over stepping his boundaries , as usual. Fire Kirshenbaum for being part of an illegal scheme. Certainly fire Huisman again for being the self serving leech he is.
Hire trained, competent people. Drain the swamp.
