    Jim Bean worked hard and ran a good race. I think the real story here is a) the turn out and b) the margin of victory for McK and Carvelli. One could assume that all of Jim’s three hundred plus votes would’ve gone to the two incumbents.Which would have made the landslide that occurred even more profound. Matt Doherty’s ‘legacy’ is finally behind us. His brand of dishonesty and corruption is toast here in Belmar. That is a good thing.

    Exactly #5. And we still have an ACTING CHIEF OF POLICE who cant pass the chiefs test, cant manage a police department and is making a ridiculous amount of overtime! When are they going to get rid of him!!
