WTF… get the DOT out to investigate PEDESTRIAN crossing all of the County and State Highways in Belmar. Maybe they will chip in for police help in this over crowded borough. No one denies that the Mayor has hamstrung the police and he’s blaming them for his machinations and chaos.

Why wait until there is loss of life or limb? Remember all the cars being driven onto the East West Railroad tracks back when there were so many more summer rentals?

They should have a crossing guard/ traffic control at 16th and Ocean also during peak times on Sst and Sun. Someone is going to get hurt!

The flighty council person doesn’t need to follow safety rules regarding jaywalking chilren at Belmar Elmementary School today so why would there be support for crossing guards at 16th and Ocean. A lot of cars park in loading zone and on the crosswalk to get a Dunkin. It’s an accident waiting to happen.
