Dems Noisily Oppose Imaginary Bridges

 

 

DOT might have looked at the feasibility of a fixed span at one point, but the statement issued just days ago – and published here – clearly states they plan to replace the current drawbridge “in-kind” with a new drawbridge.

 

Meanwhile, Jim Bean quietly fights for the residents of Belmar’s south end.

    If the new bridge begins on Main street at 8th Avenue, then the proposed Municipal Building project would be in the way. No wonder Mayor Brian says he will take on small projects…actually sounds kinda smart. Not that the new mayor is an ambitious whiz kid or anything…
