Denied Taylor, Seniors Stuck With Low Rent Building

.

And then have to pay rent!

Actually, Belmar doesn’t even pay rent there.  We just maintain and operate the building.

I’m curious, what does this church building provide that the Taylor Pavilion couldn’t?
If it’s only open from 8 a.m. till noon why couldn’t that be done at the pavilion as well? I believe that’s what Taylor was built for!

It’s because St. Rose’s, I mean, OUR municipal gym is booked. So now we have 2 publicly owned spaces that are used by private entities. How do we deal with it? We buy another one.

#1 – The Taylor Pavillion must be left untarnished for the sucess of Merri-Makers catering operation.

#3 Merri-Makers, Right! Why isn’t that being brought up in Josh’s campaign? He should campaign on turning Taylor Pavilion back to the townspeople.

Photo shoot people! How sophisticated do you have to be to realize you’re paying for a 23 Skiddo without an Ocean view. Mildew, mold?

Here is the “icing on Gene Murray’s cake”. Can he still be so enthusiastic about Matt and crew? At least it is closer to the senior building than the Taylor Pavilion.

No longer exempt from property taxes?
That decision should be made by Monmouth County.

#11 Eugene I think you are on to something. The solution is Belmar buys the property cheap then sells it to who else Dr. Lombardi so he can open another bar. Problem solved right?

#12 Ouch! it’s that Edison conflict again. media, media, media. Hunka Bunka here or at Ocean between 18th and 19th. Lmao.

The noise ratio inside the Senior Building will be the same in the TV social, nursing home room.

The baby boomers don’t want to be relagated to the church/nursing home lounge with a sports TV screen, they want the Ocean and free form convivial exercise.

We are blessed to have such a nice building, since we already spent six million on a new one which didn’t meet the needs of the seniors. Maybe we could trade with Merry Makers in the future

This Belmar senior is glad to be gone from this nonsense. I never liked all those people ( I didn’t like )from Neptune Twp. for a free senior lunch. Now that you have to pay they will not come any more. V.I.P. in this instance stands for Very Inappropriate Program.

Just curious, what exactly will seniors do in this place from 8 AM until noon? Wouldn’t a better time be noon to 4 PM or later?

12 to 4 makes more sense for seniors. I guess the hours have to be limited to those hours in order to accommodate an employee’s part time job hours. Time will tell.
