As I keep saying, get out the cutting torches and cut those pieces of junk (and all the other junk we’ve got sitting under the water tower and in the parking lot, ect.)we’ve got and haul them over to the junk yard on Memorial Drive. We’ll make good money on all that steel. The money can be split up between the DPW, Librarians, “teachers”, Police, Admin clerks, Town Council, shade tree commission, firemen, code enforcement and anyone else who’s got their paw out. Of course, three “honest” men have to be found to make sure everyone gets their fair share of the action. The problem lies I think in who should be entrusted to pick the three honest men.
.If they were paid for with Federal taxes they were not free. Neither is maintenance.
.I slept better knowing that the mounds of unsupported sand that they constructed last year would require two waves instead of one to reach the good people of Belmar.
#2 – I’m going to cherry pick one word out of your post. I/we do not deliver furniture to “hoarders.” I’ve done it before and I’ll never do it again. If I come to a house that is the house of a hoarder, I’ll just walk away form the job. I wonder if the disease of hoarding is genetic of if it’s airborne. Is their any known magic elixir that can cure it? Hoarding is a sickness. Lord help us from this plague.
There are junky spots all over town, except boardwalk and inlet terrace. matt and council don’t care about anything but how to take care of themselves.

In my experience all dpw yards are eyesores, there is one town that their garage catches on fire every few years.
