Have you noticed the traffic study on Route 35 between 71 and just after MacLearie? That can’t be for Bridge project or could it? Traffic diversions when Bridge out for months?
OK, class, today we are going to learn why our taxes are so high. We have incompetent state engineers (Union job) that are not capable of drawing up proper specifications or can hold contractors responsible for sub par work. The contractor (In this case Union Co.)realizes this, puts extra men on the job to stand around and look busy, while a few men are showing the state engineer all the faults in the specifications and work that needs to be done to fix this bridge properly. The engineers have no clue and don’t care, so the Union Contractor bills the state of NJ 3 times the amount it would have taken to put a new bridge up after Sandy. Class dismissed… oh and class don’t forget that the state workers in this story move out of our state after they retire because NJ taxes are too high.
#12. He’s been muffled because he’s usually the most competent person in the room and he’s clearly not intimidated by lightweighted, bureaucratic, insecure individuals in power.
Oh and Dave, you’re always cutting edge to our delight and your diligence and goal to uncover in Belmar has so frustrated the nervous by evildoers in Belbar. Always thank you.

Call the police, the people keep screaming CALL THE POLICE.
More waste of money. Sad
the bridge is no longer visible from 5th Avenue as u approach Strolo’s …. NJDOT could put a bridge status indicator on 5th
#8 – That is a great suggestion. No reason that a status indicator light should not be done as part of this project.
I’ve been complaining about that situation since the new building went up. Very dangerous!
As usual the most competent award goes to Gene Creamer!
Yes #11. Eugene Creamer, who’s civil rights are being violated by not being permitted to speak during public session.
#11-With proper planning, the town should have required the builder of that former Hampton’s property to add those additional safe guards.
