I’m sure our Mayor will join the protest WITH the PBA I mean after all, he is all pro union…… what?….wait…. you mean only….. he’s is but he isn’t??? Oh I get it now… only the unions that support his political career, contribute to his campaign and agenda.

Hey Wilton! Go back to Hudson County where you are from and drop Matt off in Edison (Middlesex Co) on your way. Thanks

Wilton & Matt were involved in every secret meeting with the PBA. Matt and Acting Chief Huisman didn’t care to keep or save any Lake Como cop jobs. Wilton backed them both 100%. They were only out for their political selfishness and future.

Rumor around town Wilton is selling his house in 17th Ave and moving to a bigger house on 19th Ave next to a laid off Lake Como cop. It goes to show that he doesn’t care about anyone but himself.

The 19th Avenue Belmar 5 fiasco this weekend was ditectly caused by Wilton’s Council decision to re-route one way signage. As a result, there was no outlet for motor vehicles in the maze. And, did he vote to change the four month traffic pattern for his move to 19th Avenue? Call Peter he’ll get to the real meat on this bone.

#1 – Police are not Unionists. They’re municipal employees/civil servants. Only people who work for private industry can be considered Unionists.

#4- You’re on the right track. He will be moving to Spring Lake where their quiet streets are patrolled by their own Police Department. Take that to the bank. #3- My suspicions are Matt has some real dirt on Wilted (pun intended). I had always though of Brian as a stand up guy. Apparently not as smart as you would think. OH well. Bye-bye boys.

Pba get in touch with the guys from salt. I am sure they have some extra signs left over from Wilton’s partner in crime (mayor matt) protest last year that can be used

The Belmar takeover of the Lake Como police dept is a joke. Yesterday afternoon I observed 8 cars parked on 18th avenue in the newly created no parking zone and none them were ticketed.

When are they going to enforce the parking regulations?

Will the LC outfall pipe ever be built? Wreck pond outfall pipe is closing the beaches in fancy Spring Lake? Story in Coast Star newspaper.I hope LC pipe is much longer so the beaches in Belmar do not close after a heavy rain.

All those obvious violations on 18th aren’t ticketed or towed particularly the opposite direction parking on the one ways and corner sitting by livery services waiting for fares. The specials dont do “move along buddy”.Smog city is more like it in Belmar /LC.

When will Wilton finally give Matt all of Lake Como so Belmar can add it to their tax base? It’s just a matter of time. Wilton obviously doesn’t care how many people lose their jobs and gives the residents below average police services.

Sounds like Wilton wants to be like Matt. Run for Freeholder, move to a bigger house in the same town, screw the residents, screw the unions, screw up rhe traffic and of course, cause more debt. Just one more thing to do…..lose the Freeholder race!

    No longer enforced
In New Jersey, anyone under 17 years of age that rides a bicycle or is a passenger on a bicycle, or is towed as a passenger by a bicycle must wear a safety helmet. On August 1, 1998 this helmet law was extended to include roller and inline skates and skateboards.

Try getting the bicycle riders to obey the rules of the road and bicycle with traffic not against. One way streets in Belmar are very, very narrow. Trying to safely navigate between bicycle riders going in the wrong direction on both sides of your car is challenging. I often just stop. I worry more about the truckers, vans and SUVS who feel more entitled to domineer the one way than the ignorant wrong way bicyclists.

I can’t figure out if you like or you hate unions. In this particular case (of saving LC taxpayers money but laying off some police officers) you’re in favor? Also, where’s the smoking gun in regards to moving and getting promoted? These are typical things people do, no? There’s no there there.

Isn’t Giblin one of the sponsors of that senate bill extending the seasonal liquor license to 10 months?

Wasn’t Giblin, plus ready, willing and able to screw Lake Como, Belmar residents by carpetbagging his legislation that would have rewarded his pay to pay donors.

He’s sponsoring Wilton, think about it.
