Speaking of scammers. I need some help. Does anyone know anything about a scammer from Nigeria named Nigel? he sent me an email a few years ago and said he was a banker and an uncle of mine had died there and if I sent him a check for 1K, he’d make sure I got my inheritance of $20 million dollars. I’ve been sending monthly 1K checks for severul years now and I’m starting to think this Nigel might be a scammer. Does anyone have any advice for me?
Tom wins the day! But seriously, badge checkers are to not argue or get into it with beachgoers. If there’s a problem, they are to say have a nice day, then call the police. As far as checking seniors, you’d be surprised how many people want that discounted badge. Why is the media trying to catch our folks doing bad things? Try going to the BA and the mayor and asking some serious questions about how the town is run. They’re the real scammers.
#1 and #4 And former hit-and-run Mayor Doherty was the biggest scammer, but unfortunately, many residents do not realize that, and that blowhard Magovern may have had the torch passed to him, possibly unbeknownst to him, but a probable truth unless he is replaced by an honorable person.
#7 Perhaps a non-politician. If people start off being honorable, many become corrupted along the way. How many have strong ethics and can turn their backs on money and power?

Belmar now has more 15 year Olds on our beach than any place at the shore.
