I guess outdoor cats can but it’s pretty unlikely with indoor cats. Also cats don’t bite nearly as many people as dogs do.
I say as far as cats go it should be up to the owner.
Gee. I must have missed the donation to Lawless Matt from P.E.T.A. Sad to say that in every action he takes, you have to stop and think of what donor he may be positively influencing. And to think that they even have time to waste on this subject with all other pressing issues at hand is sickening.
#9. Dear Mr. Real. I cannot say anything about the others but I did OPRA from D.O.T. the Rhode Island Point project. They will be fixing all the curbs such as those on Pine Tree and Briarwood were they are in bad shape, plus resurfacing.
From the January 17th (today) – Asbury Park Press:
“Through the first nine months of 2016, New Jersey health testing found rabies in: — Raccoons (108 cases) — Skunks (20) — Foxes (8) — Cats (18) — Dogs (1) — Groundhogs (4) — Bats (52)…”
With “surprise” helicopter landing and a “no-show” Fire Marshal, public safety is not a regime priority …. ZAP! …. just waiting for a electrocution from the metal light poles on Main Street …. Hopefully, it would only be a male dog.
Avon-by-the-Sea, Lake Como and Spring Lake all require licenses for cats. Wall Township doesn’t, but their police department has broad authority over all animals.

Yay Matt!
Gee I thought cats could get Rabies. How dumb am I?
Feline leukemia (Aids).
So cats can’t get rabies?

Tavern frequenters who roam about drunk should be licensed. And tracked.
Let the cats alone, the way they usually like it, unless they spend a lot of time outdoors.
Do any council members own cats?

Ordinance 2017-01 is an attempt to hide and avoid compliance with a proposed law:

What are the 12th Avenue, Railroad Avenue, and Rhode Island Point grant applications for? What projects and phases? Thanks for any info!

Railroad Ave is a mess. About time they fixed it up.
Doesn’t NJ TRANSIT (railroad) have ingress and egress rights to Railroad Avenue which ialso involves regular maintenance and upkeep of that roadway?
Did you remove my post? Why?
No, you put in the wrong entry.

Gee maybe cats should be vaccinated? Just wait until a cat bites or scratches somebody.
Uh, somebody wants cats to die and go missing. Cat revolt! Why are dogs a favored class?
Man’s best friend.
Somebody’s cat does not like needles. Probably does not vaccinate his kids either…

Gene, the metal railing(s) on the boardwalk are hair-raising and have arced. Meter Kiosks, JCP&L, Belmar or Epic and their subs?
#21 …. add Monmouth County and Maser to the sauce…
Go back to oil lamps. Worked fine when I was a kid in 1925
It is Federal law to have cats vaccinated
Oh no, another potential federal lawsuit. Public Health and Safety Office vacate?
Check with your vet. It’s a federal law.

Thanks for sharing Gene. Just Kidding! Too much time on your hands or what?
