So both pavilions were to be build with 4.3 million and now only one will be build for 4.1 million. WHAT? This is the mayor’s mailer to vote yes for the 7 million bond last year. Full of misstatements and I am being kind. We do not want to pay 7 million for two pavilion and definitely do not want to spent 4.1 million for ONE pavilion.

Is the focus of the pavilions to build for the vendors and get the money back from the rent or just a taj mahal to show off???

#3, Sir, I said at the pedestrian, bike
“Safety” committee meeting to make parallel parking on the east side of Ocean Ave. and they shot the idea down PDQ. That’s the answer to the problem of bike safety, parallel parking. This angled parking is dangerous as h*ll, but they don’t care. They only want to get their paws on a grant so they can have one of their pals/cronies get a contract to paint meaningless lines and bike decals on the pavement that no one will look at anyway.

Parallel parking equals less spots which equals less parking fees. Can’t build millions of dollars worth of pavilions with less taxes, I mean revenue.

We need to pay the debt we have first before taking on another big project.

Old Man: for some time now the borough has farmed out Robbin D. Kirk, Belmar C.F.O. to Spring Lake Borough where she works during the week as tax collector.
