If I recall correctly when the face of the boardwalk was being put on people were complaining that they wanted the the face to pop off real easy in a storm so that water can flow underneath the boardwalk in an emergency.. So that the water wont gather and lift the boardwalk. If that is the case then wont the new curbs stop the boards from popping off in a storm. Whoch means that the face of the boardwalk that the people wanted in now going to be useless

they wouldn’t by chance be adding a bike path would they? Would make sense to keep the bikers in front of where the cars park rather than behind them…. just a thought

There’s a ditch at the curb 24″x5″ deep in some places running from the East side of 16th Ave, 102 through 108 for about 3 years now.

    # 3 A bike path is sorely needed. The cement islands force bicycle and skateboard riders as well as dog walkers out into traffic. Especially on fifth Avenue where the Islands jut out into the street the farthest. Hope no one gets hurt.

I dont think the DPW are adding parking stops. I am pretty sure they are building a cement wall at road level to stop the black top street from breaking apart and falling into the beach under the boardwalk
