Bars, Bars and bars?
…are getting somewhere between $350,000 and $1 million. And that’s just the Church I’m talking about. The high school gets another chunk of money.
Goody! Now St. Rose can pay taxes for the mulitple buildings in town? And maybe the grammar school can build their own gym, and let us use the one we pay for.
How are the bars getting loans? How many bar owners in Belmar actually hire full timers?
St Rose received money from the govt.? Thomas Jefferson is rolling in his grave.
Amazing how many Belmar businesses needed to borrow money to survive.
on the upside … there are businesses thriving in a pandemic world … like plexiglass and HVAC installers, telecoms, etc.
I like the service businesses that sanitize a workplace … reminds me of Roscoe … the bed bug dog
#5- Survive??? How bout buying new boats and cars on these so called loans. Or putting their relatives on the payroll. This is one the biggest scams in the history of or country and you my friend will pay dearly. Only the rich get richer. Disgusting. You think it took years to prosecute the Sandy scammers?? This will take decades if the government even has the resources to do so.
as i read the payouts from various shore towns, I noticed that The Osprey in Manasquan didn’t apply for a PPP.
#8 thats because they closed down for the season instead of dealing with it. Probably easier to collect on an insurance business interruption policy for the principles
