Maybe We Better Vote Yes

Got this in the mail today:

Christie

Actually, even though it’s a bad idea to bond $7 million for this project we better do what the governor says or otherwise something like this might happen:

The state of NJ is absolutely broke and our credit rating just keeps getting downgraded. Then there’s Bridgegate, and ethics issues… people are supposed to listen to him ?!!!Now that’s funny ! The only bigger joke is that people actually thought they were going to a legit Christie town hall meeting. It was all set up just for a mailer. Ha ha

I personally want to thank the mayor and
RBP for supplying me with such excellent
material for my ethics case against the governor. It rarely happens. I will be forwarding this mailer sent to Belmar Republicans today to the NJ State Ethics Commission.

First: I want to thank all the registered Democrats who signed the petition and are committed to voting No on the 19th.
Second: I realize that Brendan Read does not represent the typical Belmar Democrat. His attack strategy is starting to really annoy me. His letter to the editor in the Aug. 7, Coast Star is pathetic. He not only name calls like a five year old, he makes false accusation: He continues on the false accusation begun by our own Mayor about Mr. Ehmann being guilty of harassment even when the charges were dropped against him on July 18th. He refers to those who support the No vote as criminals. As far as I know John Palus, pleaded guilty to practicing without a license and then got named this year to the Mayor’s redevelopement advisory committee. Former Belmar engineer, Tom Rospos indicted also in 2012 and face 5-10 years for an elaborate pay-to-play scheme. But to Read the supporters of No are criminals. When will he get his facts right?

So the donkeys are going to listen to the elephant now? Crazy mixed-up place, this Belmar. Is it possible to educate and open the closed minds of the mis-informed that “yes” means higher taxes eventually and “no” means wiser spending, not credit card living as the ambitious yuppie Mayor proposes? Time is short before the election. Where was Paul Revere when we needed him? The “red coat” was already here.
